Job Summary:
Auto House Honda is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management, order processing, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, orders, and purchases
- Receive, stock, and organize parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper storage
- Process orders, returns, and warranty claims efficiently
- Maintain and update inventory records in the dealership’s system
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely availability of parts
- Handle shipping and receiving of parts, including verifying shipments for accuracy
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Assist with pricing and promotional activities for parts sales
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge and recommendations
- Other operational support duties as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in automotive parts or retail preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts when necessary
- Valid driver’s license may be required
